Technical On-Page SEO

Rankings start with technical fundamentals. I handle the on-page SEO that search engines actually care about — site structure, metadata, structured data, performance, and crawlability. This is the foundation that everything else builds on.

What I Do

Technical on-page SEO is about making sure search engines can find, understand, and prioritize your content. Here's what I work on:

Meta Tags & Title Optimization

Unique, keyword-targeted title tags and meta descriptions for every page. Proper Open Graph and Twitter Card tags so your pages look right when shared. No duplicate titles, no missing descriptions, no generic boilerplate.

Heading Structure

Clean heading hierarchy — one H1 per page, logical H2/H3 nesting, headings that actually describe the content beneath them. Search engines use heading structure to understand page topics and content relationships.

Structured Data & JSON-LD

Schema markup that tells search engines exactly what your pages represent. Business info, services, FAQs, articles, products, reviews — implemented as JSON-LD and validated against Google's requirements. This is how you get rich results.

Internal Linking

Strategic internal links that distribute page authority and help search engines discover your content. Proper anchor text, logical site hierarchy, no orphan pages.

Site Speed & Core Web Vitals

Page speed is a ranking factor. I optimize for Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint, and Cumulative Layout Shift — the three Core Web Vitals that Google measures. This means optimized images, minimal render-blocking resources, efficient CSS and JavaScript, and proper asset loading.

Crawlability & Indexation

Robots.txt configuration, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, and proper use of noindex/nofollow directives. I make sure search engines can crawl what they should and ignore what they shouldn't. No crawl budget wasted on duplicate content or dead ends.

What I Don't Do

I want to be upfront about this: I don't do backlink building or off-page SEO.

Backlinks are important — they're still one of the strongest ranking signals. But earning quality backlinks requires years of relationship building, content marketing, PR outreach, and platform presence. Anyone who tells you they can get you authoritative backlinks quickly is either cutting corners or lying.

I focus on what I can control and deliver reliably: the technical foundation of your site. Get this right and you're giving your content the best possible chance to rank. Pair it with good content and the links will come.

Built-In, Not Bolted On

Every site I build starts with technical SEO as a baseline — not as an afterthought or an add-on package. The sites coming out of 137Foundry ship with proper meta tags, structured data, semantic HTML, optimized performance, and clean crawl paths from day one.

If you have an existing site that needs technical SEO work, I can audit and fix it. But the best results come from building it right from the start.
